Blessed are the pure in heart,
    for they will see God.

As I reflected on this verse, I thought about a person whose will, desires, thoughts and intentions have undergone a complete transformation! What would it be like to see God?! Reflect on that for a moment. There are different ways we read in Scripture of the aspects of seeing God in the events and circumstances of life and that is important. As we grow deeper in our relationship with God, I pray that we come to see God in the midst of our lives in all kinds of ways. As I ponder this verse though, I cannot help but consider that day when I will stand before the Lord face to face! For me, the song “I Can Only Imagine” by Mercy Me beautifully and powerfully communicates the awesomeness of this concept of seeing God face to face.
