This is the newest book from authour Glenys Nellist and it is delightful! This book is certainly one that young children will enjoy and is an excellent story for opening up a conversation with little ones about Jesus’ resurrection. This book is aimed at kids 4 and under and is written in a catchy, rhyming way with beautiful illustrations. She uses the example of tulips, bunnies, leaves, butterflies, frogs and birds to show new life growing, leading to the concluding page of Jesus coming out from the grave. It is written in a way that is simple and fun, and yet offers a rich depth of conversation possibilities. I love the emphasis on things that were small and seemingly insignificant growing and transforming to something new! It is a great way for children to discover their value and invitation to a life transformed by Jesus.

I highly recommend this book for churches and for families as a wonderful way to celebrate the message of Easter with little ones!
