Book Review
Fruit Full 100 Family Experiences for Growing in the Fruit of the Spirit is the newest book release from Canadian authour Christie Thomas. As the title suggests, it is all about the Fruit of the Spirit! This book is thoughtful, theologically deep and yet very accessible to children and focused on what happens as you spend time with Jesus. I really appreciate her approach to this book being one of abiding in Christ rather then a moralistic to-do list.
The first 10 devotions focus generally on the fruit of the Spirit followed by a section of 10 devotions on each of the 9 aspects listed. Each section contains:
- A variety of simple, interactive family experiences to get kids excited about the topic and memorizing Scripture together.
- Ten short, kid-friendly devotions that focus on the hands, heart, and habits of Jesus as he lived out the fruit of the Spirit on earth.
- Family-friendly discussion starters to help you grow closer to God.
- Prayer prompts to invite the Holy Spirit to work
