The Toronto Children’s Ministry Conference, an annual conference co-sponsored by CBOQ Kids along with Wycliffe, Tyndale and the Centre for Excellence in Christian Education is pleased to share that Dr. Holly Allen will be our Plenary Speaker this year on Saturday, November 2 at Tyndale University College and Seminary. More details and registration here. This 1 day conference that attracts 400+ people is jam-packed with 40 different workshop opportunities in addition to the plenary session. It is for both paid staff and volunteers so consider sending your whole children’s ministry team and sunday school teachers!

As a special extra value added opportunity, CBOQ Kids is hosting an additional event on Friday, November 1st at 4pm with Holly at Spring Garden Church:

“Exploring Intergenerational Ministry: Bringing Change, Growing Practice”

In this 90 minute workshop Holly will share some of the rationale and background for intergenerational ministry. Through both theory and practical engagement she will demonstrate how to become more intentionally intergenerational in outlook and practice.

Following the workshop you are invited to stay and participate in “Faith at the Table” with Holly, an intergenerational event at Spring Garden where you will experience and engage with an intergenerational community in worship and learning. Dinner is part of this experience, and it is included in the cost of the workshop registration.
