There will be time to explore with your church, your family and on your own.  All the while, God will be at the center!

This month we will be focusing on confession.  This practice helps us to be more like Jesus by learning what is means to say sorry and admit wrongdoing.

Family time capsule

During this exceptional year, wouldn’t it be interesting to create a record of what God is doing in your family as you grow together?

It’s Easter!  What did your family do to celebrate?  What is something you felt God tell you over the Easter season?

Take a picture of the whole family outside on a beautiful spring day! Feeling courageous? Try a family picture outside in the spring rain!

What do you like about confession and forgiveness?  What do you find challenging?

What has God been saying to you as you have been seeking him?

What is one way you can share God’s love this month?

What is one thing you would like to pray for your family this month?

Intergenerational Worship Experience

Pastors – Blast off with your whole congregation with this intergenerational exercise.  It’s something everyone can do, regardless of age.  This is a practical option if your services are online, too.

Pastors – Consider sharing with your congregation about how confession is like washing your clothes.  Sin is like the dirt on the clothes.  When we confess our sins to God, his forgiveness washes us clean, just like how the dirt comes out of our clothes.
