The Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec (herein referred to as CBOQ) is a charitable organization, and there is no agreement either expressed or implied to establish any relationship of partnership, joint venture, employment, franchise or agency between CBOQ, You (as a User) and / or any of the individuals / businesses / organizations mentioned on our website www.baptist.ca or our affiliate sites www.cboqyouth.ca, www.cboqkids.ca, www.assembly2012.ca or www.assembly2013.ca.

Identifying Purposes

When you request (opt-in) to one of our services, we collect your name, and contact information. When you make a donation we may also collect credit card information, and maintain information as a business record for a defined period of time. If you give us your postal address, we may send you periodic mailings with information on new products, services, or information on upcoming events.

We collect the email addresses of those who communicate with us by email. The email addresses are used for communication purposes and our contact lists will never be shared or sold.

All of our services have an option to opt-out if you do not want to receive future communications from CBOQ, email directly.

Consent

Privacy Disclosure and Indemnification – You hereby agree willingly to associate with CBOQ, and all of the information you provide through CBOQ will fall under the jurisdiction of the privacy policy published on our website (www.baptist.ca). You also agree to defend, at your expense, any action brought against CBOQ arising our of your use of a service. You will indemnify CBOQ and its affiliations / subsidiaries from any costs, damages and fees incurred by you or your representatives, which are attributable to such a claim arising out of your use of a service.

Limiting Collection

You can visit most pages on our site without giving us any information about yourself. If you request information or sign-up for any of our services, we will need information from you in order to fulfill your request.

Limiting Use, Disclosure and Retention

If you decide to become a member you will receive a welcome email. These communications may contain notification of new services, changes to policies or even upcoming events.

Throughout our site, we have email addresses posted to encourage our users to contact us directly with inquiries or feedback. If a user submits an email to us, we respond to the email directly to answer questions or comments. We do not sell or otherwise disclose email addresses to third parties.

User contact information is also used to send newsletters / bulletins if you are a member or subscribe to the newsletter.
